Body breathing is when the body breathes the breath, and the breath breathes the body.
The breath happens, and the movement happens. The practitioner is privileged to witness the joy and effortlessness of embodied essence moving in presence, and guide it on its way with subtle hints and suggestions.
The subtle changes in the body posture in static, fluid and dynamic movement affect our breath, and capactiy to breath fully, deeply, and with optimal life energy. or to breath with strength, integrity, and response awareness. Simultaneously, the connection to the breath's mechanisms affect our posture, movement, and experience of life.
This can create the experience of synchronicity, unity, and cohesion within the mind and body.
Body, Awareness, and Breath, the trinity that appears in multiple ancient health and movement practices alive today, as well as quite a few modern ones. In this practice we draw from traditional practices, such as Yoga, Qi-gong, Martial arts, as well as modern influences of Movement science, Anatomy & Physiology, Somatics and Modern dance. I've focused on reducing the complex arbitrary movements and techniques and built from the base up the most important understandings for this specific method. Simultaneously I've spent several years exploring and discovering in my own body and with others, the mechanisms of Breath and Body associations. This practice has helped me to recover from injury and sickness, and has proved an invaluable process for my quality of life. After years of exploration, I've noticed very subtle nuances in the practice of connecting these powerful mediums of breath and body. Additionally, there are important things to know when beginning or advancing. I've created my own exercises, use traditional and modern exercises, and also adapt certain poses and practices to greater effect. Some of the different larger categories of this practice are: Whole Body breathing, Inner body breathing, Room and space breathing, Packing the body, Body Breathing in movement and exercise, Breathing the layers of the body.
